Cafe Batu Jimbar

In the past 16 years, whenever I come to Bali, I always make a special trip to Sanur to eat at this restaurant. The food has always been delicious and the food has also changed a lot. No wonder there are more and more foreign guests. Finally, you must try their hand-made desserts. They are fresh and delicious. We were so full today that we packed away 2 carrot and pineapple cakes and 1 blueberry cake.

Highly recommend Batujimbar. We were staying close by at the Mayar Sanur so this was a very convenient and short walk from our resort. We had dinner here twice during our stay - both were walk ins with no reservation. Great fit out, clean, modern - when dining in, you wouldn't necessarily know you're at a local restaurant in Bali. Pricing is also very reasonable. More expensive than local places (but worth the extra dollar for the ambience, air con, clean bathrooms, etc) but still a lot cheaper than dining out in Australia. We only ordered their local dishes which were fantastic so can't speak for their western dishes. Expect to pay about 100-150k rp per person for a meal and drink.

Ps.we had three young kids with us and they were very accommodating to our challenging family!

Warm and helpful services, clean spacious and nice ambiance (even the toilet feels cool). But the food taste is average with sensible price. We ordered chicken satay oxtail soup fried rice egg tofu mendoan tempeh springrolls cornfritters and dessert lemon meringue cake apple pie brownie & es campur.a complete lunch

5 stars for the iced coffee (that's all we had, can't speak for the food). Nice and refreshing and not too sweet, a touch of cinnamon on top, served with sugar syrup that you can add on top:)

- Pada saat saya datang kesini dan memesan makanan tongseng kambing. Dan mereka mencampur daging kambing dan sapi di makanan saya. Ke esokan hari nya saya mulai alergi karena daging sapi tersebut. Untuk lebih bagus di masa depan. Agar konsisten terhadap menu makanan yg dipesan oleh tamu. Kalau memang daging tidak ada bilang ke tamu tidak jangan dicampur daging sapi karena itu tidak baik bagi tamu yang alergi. Terima kasih

On our way from airport to Ubud and was told by driver that this is a good restaurant. Decided to try and was sorely disappointed. Poor food, service and the restaurant was so hot and stuffy. Hardly any customers and yet they are so slow! Coconut comes in glasses and not in the original nut. Crockery still has dried food stains on them and glasses not cleaned properly. Ask for fan but was ignored. I don’t think they can make it!

The Sunday market is very nice!

Other days of the week food is OK. Staff friendly. Restaurant is clean. Prices above average and not including tax and service.

The Sunday market at Jimbar is very nice! Starts at 10. Good food.

1st time enjoy Sunday market at Cafe Batu Jimbar, the food, coffee, people and the amosphere are awesome, definitely will visit again very soon

The location is really good, the staff very friendly, beer is cheap and the food is amazing. Order the corn fritters! You wont regret it

The food here is 5 star hands down

The salsa dancing and music on a Saturday night is a added bonus, the only downfall is the slow service this is because everybody is dancing and engrossed in the salsa dancing.

Cafe ini tempatnya nyaman dengan tatanan yang baik. Menikmati makanan disini bisa dengan santai. Layanannya baik dan memuaskan. Tersedia menu seperti Spring roll Sate lilit, Caesar salad, Sup buntut, Nasi campur, Nasi goreng, Tongseng kambing, Sate ayam, Spaghetti, Lasagna, Rendang, Nasi uduk dan lainnya. Sup buntut rasanya segar dan nikmat. Tongseng kambing terasa nikmat dan mantap. Nasi uduknya gurih dan nikmat

The place is cozzy, the food was fantastic especially special Sunday with more food served at the patio.

Service is extremely slow. Quality of the food is very good but it does not compensate for patience nor the serious prices which are mentioned without tax (!) Spend half your money at The Coconut Tree on great dishes and have good times!

Delicious food, friendly waiters and fast service. A great way to taste authentic Indonesian dishes but they also have a good offering of western style food. We tried the Chicken satay and plate of Indonesian Vegetarian side dishes, pictured (this dish is vegan apart from half a boiled egg, which I'm sure you could ask them to leave out).

It’s nice place for a late Sunday breakfast, the tipycal Sanur style, if u know what I mean. By the way, the market food serving actually start around 9: 30.

If you looking for a place for coffee and cake this place is the answer. They have the best cake from all especially the mango pie and tiramisu cake.

Very very lively atmosphere with great live music and people dancing.food are delicious too! It's just amazing!
