Buzz Bakehouse

Called in this morning to grab some bread for toast back at my villa.
They do serve various styles like wholemeal, multigtain, white etc etc but you have to ask for them.
I was able to get 2 larger baguette loaves for 50k.
Tasted pretty good too and a whole lot better than the usual sugary style loaves on offer in cafes.

Had a beef and caramelised onion pie. Interior was tasty but pastry was tough and chewy. Waited for 20m for the pie to arrive. They came from out back and I assume they were frozen and had to be heated up. Mid morning so expected to see a range of fresh pies to choose from. There was a couple of pastries on display and that was it. Pretty disappointed to be fair. Staff were very friendly though.

The food here is excellent. I loved the meat pie and the curry pie. However the ammount of time that they need to prepare it is quite long but still worth it!

Very nice coffee and the pies are quality. Kids had the chocolate chip pancakes and absolutely loved them. Ham and cheese croissants were the best we had eaten in Bali. The only reason they lost one star was the fact that we had to wait quite a while as they cooked our pies, but they were worth the wait.

Little aussie/local bakery café that I unfortunately visited too late today, so that most of the pies I wanted to try were already sold out (babi guling/beef rendang/.). Anyway we tried the chunky beef pie with and without caramelized onions. It appears 'with' is the way to go. Hopefully I'll find the time to come back and catch some of those fusion pies. Cheers.

Their cheesecakes are really nice. My oreo cheesecake was deliciously creamy and decadent. The price is quite high for Balinese standards though.
