Bucu Guest House

Nice accommodation. Nice personel. Not far from various restaurants and supermarkets. Air conditioning works well in the rooms. You always get fresh, cool drinking water automatically and, of course, upon request.
It is also advised not to drink from the tap unless you want to spend the rest of your holiday on the toilet.
You can choose your breakfast. Various egg dishes, pancakes or just toast. Always have a freshly prepared juice and a bowl of fruit.
For information addicts, the television offers CNN, RT, BLOMBERG and the Singapore news channel.

The location is ideal, but the smell of humidity made it back. It's a pity, because the facilities have seen better days, but they are somewhat neglected. Also, it's so humid that my swimsuit didn't dry all day. I would recommend the garden view rooms which are absolutely spectacular but I suspect they are the most humid. The bathroom was decent, but the smell was unbearable. The bathroom floor was always wet.

Great guest house with big rooms and a very nice pool. Monkeys come through the garden multiple times a day. Very helpful staff aswell who made our stay a pleasure.

Beautiful relaxing setting in the heart of Ubud.
Very lovely hosts, wonderful pool after a hot day or early morning swim. Only minutes away from the amazing Ubud Monkey Forest and shops, temples and attractions.

We spent a week at Bucu Guesthouse and here's what we liked:
+ the location is great, on a very quiet street yet in the centre of Ubud. At night you hear only the sounds of nature.
+ it has a very nice garden (visited by monkeys from the nearby forest during lunch and dinner time - do not leave anything on the balcony! And do not leave the balcony door open and unattended) and pretty pool with comfortable sunbeds
+ the breakfast is decent
+ the room was spacious, with large balcony as well
What we didn't like:
- all the furniture in the room is old and worn out
- ants in the room which the owner was quite lenient with
- the owner is kind of shady, he really ripped us off on the scooter rental - I would strongly advice against having him arrange anything for you as he will not make sure you get a fair price, will not advocate for you, and will definitely add in a surcharge for himself, you will do best arranging stuff on your own and always compare prices.

The room was big and clean. The sheets and bed were very comfortable. The pool was clean, refreshing and so pretty. The staff was very nice and helpful. Located in the heart of Ubud I loved this hotel!

I cannot rate this guest house highly enough.stayed 4 weeks.family run, communication good.monkey interaction was a highlight. Pool and gardens excellent.will definitely be going back next Bali holiday.only complaint was no fridge in room but staff made room in restaurant fridge for our use.thank you

Guest house molto bella e accogliente nel cuore di Ubud, a pochi minuti e piedi dalla monkey forest e a 15 dal palazzo reale. Staff gentile e colazione ottima.

The best guesthouse in Ubud! We stayed for a week and had the best time. The staff are amazing, the rooms and big and clean and comfortable, the food is great, the pool is so beautiful, and the location is excellent. We stayed with our 2 year old and we all loved it. Highly recommend!

Lovely pool and garden and it's so peaceful as it's off the main Street.
They helped sort a bike rental.

It was amazing for the price would definitely stay again.

Bucu Guest house is a beautiful guest house in ubud, big and clean rooms and bathrooms and also big swimming pool here, great tasting breakfast also available here, money forest park and restaurants also near, helpful and amazing staffs, great experience

Location just ok, but taxi drivers usually don’t come inside, so u need to walk from main road. Swimming pool is nice. If u come to stay here, prepare for your own body wash, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush and hairdryer. There is a super market nearby.

Great place to stay within walking distance of everything staff are polite friendly and helpful rooms are clean and good size pool and gardens are great
