Bintang Bali Restaurant

If you feel like waiting hours for disappointingly bad food, this is highly recommended. Otherwise you should probably go a few meters further. It's a thousand times better there.

Number 1 do not eat here it’s a trap.
The food is terrible to say the least.
We ordered fish cold and awful scared to eat it.
The food took so long and there is a reason for this and that is to buy more drinks they even go to the extreme length of serving salty peanuts while the food was being cooked (my 2 minute noodle dish Mie Goreng with chicken but it had the tiny and I mean you had to look real hard to find the chicken.) was fowl? !
There are poachers everywhere in this area and they even have the Gauls to walk into the restaurant and try and sell you stuff….
It’s so disappointing and sad really.
We also ordered the Gado Gado and it was so so bad how hard is it to get this dish right.
One tiny piece of tempeh that looked like it was scraped of the edge of someone else’s plate left overs grosss.

At the end of the day it’s sad and disappointing.

At least try to provide some decent food guys.

I felt so sorry for all the other family’s walking around the area and almost. Went out and stopped a family from walking in

The waiter a tall man was really nice.
So complements to him and he is a university graduate.

But the food pffftt!

When we said the food iwas bad all of the sudden not understanding English.

We left feeling ripped off and just so sick of the way the locals look at us like $$$$

The owners of this restaurant should be embarrassed

Only star for the juice. Waited ages for soggy sandwiches and a BLT that couldn't be eaten. There was even fingerprints in the bread! Maybe keep away from the sandwich. Crispy chicken burger was ok

Quite awful place, so much so I refuse to go there any more. I was once a regular but the staff are just so rude, inattentive and disrespectful. You have to repetedly ask to get a drink or get served, and when the drinks came they were not cold.

I wonder after the restaurant had not good reviews about the place seems the owner doesnt really care about it, the food is not good seems the chef doesnt know how to cook.is tasteless. The place only good for drink something but not to eat.

Food was disappointing. Even when I'm really hungry, I can't eat it. I ordered (Gado-gado, Fish and chips & orange juice), the fish was not fresh & smelly, the vegetables were over cooked.and the orange juice tasted like diluted cup of water with a drop of orange. It's really a disaster to eat here.

Shocking food. We couldn't eat the entree. So we cancelled the main meal and left. We went across the road to Tropis Bay and ate there. Nice food there. We cannot rate this place

Smoking smokers and more smoking whilst trying to eat. Great view is overshadowed by the fog of smoke and lack of interest from staff in fixing

Dishonest owner/manager who even forwarded the clock on the wall a full 15 minutes so our last round of drinks fell out of the happy hour time so he could charges us nearly double!

I did not eat because the food was disgusting. The waitress tried to pad the bill and when i showed her the discrepancy between the menu and the bill, she told me to f off. Don, t go!

The Food was okay but I had to wait over an hour for it and the restaurant was almost empty. I had to wait another 40 minutes to pay after I asked 3 times for the bill. Service is overall really bad. I do not recommend going here

Staff was nice but that was about it. Service was really slow. Pizza's were I suppose microwaved, little imagination in the decoration. Other table partner ended up with food poisoning from the nasi

Nice eatery, close to the beach. More fun on weekends. Local youth often play volleyball on the square in front.
Dishes are good. Soto ayam is fine. Other dishes are also reasonable.

Update from Nov 28,2023:
Soto ayam remains delicious. Price is 35k (excl tax & service)
Ordered Babi rendang: sauce is good, dish consists of 6 small pieces of meat, lots of potatoes and lots of carrots.
For the price of 60K this is very poor.
I will never order this again.

We were at breakfast. It's pretty sparse. This is more of a beach bar than a food establishment.

OK overall. Food was okay. Club Sandwich had very little chicken on it. Service was fast and efficient. It was close enough to the ocean to have the beautiful view but not right on the beach so you don't get all sandy and salty. Beer was cold and reasonably priced.

The restaurant advertised that they accept VISA cards, we even asked the server who confirmed credit cards were accepted, but when we tried to pay, they seemed to explain that the machine is new. There seemed to be problems connecting to the internet to process the transaction repeatedly and the staff had not been trained on how to use it. The machine looks very high tech, and even says it can accept payments by Tap-to-pay, but none of it was working, and we had to pay in cash. If we had known the card machine wasn't going to work, we would not have eaten here as we did not want to spend the cash and now we don't have enough for other expenses that we had budgeted for.

Came here for lunch in the rainy season. Nasi Goreng was decent. Seafood platter was good. Gado Gado wasnt so good.tempe was stale. I would reccomend billys across the street more.

Het restaurant is gezellig ingericht, naar er zijn betere restaurants qua eten. Eten was niet echt traditioneel.

If you are in Lovina go down to Kalibukbuk jetty and visit the guys at Bintang Bali.
Really good size entree's and mains and very tasty.
Great pancakes for dessert also.
Beers cold and cheap as well.
Just ask for Essy, Dion, Agus or Somplak who will look after you.
Oh I forgot most nights "Live music as well"

Nice stuff.cold beverages.a lot of food went over the counter during my stay there.locals and foreign tourist seemed to enjoy it.also the location is beautifull located

Good food, clean and good price. Great place and best resto in Lovina. We always come when visit northern of Bali. Ocean view, beautiful with sunset. Pay entrance or car parking 5k which is too expensive for local people
