First visit after the reopening - lots of little improvements, we loved the ambience and lighting and the food as always was awesome especially the tuna san choy bow - Update we visited again and it was perfect food service, ambience its our fave place in Bali for special occasions now

Delicious. Came here for dinner with my
family incl 2 young kids. They had high chairs available and service was kind to us.
Would love to come back without the kids to enjoy the food more!

The Burrata dish and the char-grilled greens were really good.

First, compliments to the service staff and the manager especially for the warm and inviting dinner experience.

The food generous and prepared up to standards. The pairing of flavours was bold, however, in my opinion if executed better would have elevated the dishes even more.

The use of the edamame with mala chilli oil, warmed the palate. The dim sums were delicious and well-presented.

The lamb was tender and pulls apart beautifully. However, the pickled cucumber didn't complement the flavour lamb. Pork prepared similarly may be a better alternative.

The fire oven cooked chicken was moist and the sauce with burnt orange goes well. A classic example of allowing simple flavours to bring out the ingredients.

The lightly sweetened dessert was finished the dinner beautifully.

Our most favourite restaurant and it never disappoints. The food, drinks, staff and ambiance are all 10/10. Prices are very reasonable too.

We were recommended to come here during our stay but hadn’t booked in. On our first night we were walking back home and passed Billy Ho and couldn’t not go in - the ambiance is amazing! The food is such good quality and we would 100% go back and recommend to friends and family.

Would leave 6 stars if I could. Some of the best food I’ve ever eaten matched with beautiful service and atmosphere— we’ll definitely be back soon! Highly recommend the pork belly & dumplings.

Wow! We LOVED everything about this restaurant! Excellent service, awesome decor and the food was incredible! I had the eggplant starter which was so tasty, billy ho margarita, lamb shoulder main and the Oreo beetroot dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious. They have a great wine selection, I had some rose by the glass. Can’t wait to go back!

We had a fantastic dinner at Billy Ho, a serendipitous discovery as we were walking down Canggu's main strip. Enticed in by the beautiful interior and warm atmosphere, we met the hostess and co-owner, Sharon, who quickly welcome us in as walk ins and found us seating at the bar table.

We followed her recommendations and got the fish and pearl meat siu mai, chicken yakitori, and grilled asparagus for appetizers. Although it's a pretty humble dimsum, I have to say the siu mai was very well done, packed with meat, with a thick soy sauce dip. The chicken yakitori, similarly humble, was tender and juicy with a unique tomato mayo sauce. The grilled asparagus came with baby brussel sprouts that the restaurant grew itself, a nice helping of healthy greens for the meal. For our main we got the char siu pork belly, which was cooked perfectly to maintain the tenderness of the meat.

Portions were all very generous so we didn't have room for dessert, but we did manage to order two of their signature cocktails, the beeswax negroni and the Tokyo 75, to complement our meal. Highly recommend Billy Ho as a great place for a classy date night or a group dinner with friends in Canggu.

Amazing experience from start to finish. Friendly reception and service and absolutely delicious food. I had some of the best calamaris I've ever had, followed by a perfectly prepared lamb shoulder served with mandarin pancakes and kimchi. The cocktails are original and the wine selection is great too. Their dishes are unique and the hardest part is choosing what you want to try. Highly recommend this place!

Great restaurant! Warm atmosphere, and very nice and well trained staff, especially the female waitress who was serving us! She was so polite, friendly and efficient. She trully made our evening! The food is great and what I personally like very much is that there is a different gluten-free menu card. So much easier to choose! I definitely recommend this restaurant!

This was such a find in Canggu. We were walking past and saw this cool bar/resto. Stopped and it just made our night. The food is unbelievable, the service is first class. And that Brazilian manager glues everything together. Never felt so welcomed in a place before. Must try.

Some of the best sushi I've had in a while, and easily one of the best places I've been in Bali. Really great service, and quality food and cocktails. Also, my husband appreciated they had a nut allergy specific menu, we've never seen that anywhere! Well priced, and great atmosphere. 100 percent will go back!

Deliciousness! We came here last night for dinner and were blown away by the flavours! We had a variety of small plates, sashimi & nigiri & dim sum (which were a little flavour explosion)!

Cocktails were also great, wish the wine list had a bit more on it but apart from that would 100% recommend a visit.

Food was incredible as always.
Went twice in the 4 days we were in Bali this time around.
Service is always fast, efficient and extremely friendly.

Wow, the interior of the building is stunning. Lots of detail in this restaurant and it's definitely a little more up-market than the usual Japanese restaurant. Wouldn't stop some Birkenstock wearing Aussies through the door though!

Fantastic food, service and atmosphere, well air conditioned and we were looked after.

What we ordered:
Tiramisu Martini (incredibly good)
Amberjack sashimi
Fish and pearl dim sum
Sashimi and nigiri board
Aged grouper

We would highly recommend the cocktails and the food is presented spectacularly. My partner kept commenting on how beautiful the plates were!

I was told on good authority Billy Ho is THE hottest ticket in Canggu right now. Opened post-COVID in the first week of February let it be known that Billy Ho simply exudes sex appeal and style. While we arrived without a booking, we were greeted by possibly one of Balinese’s most beautiful models in a long flowing white tee and serious knee high boots. She smiles and gives me a look that says “everything will be ok” as I beg for a table at this lush establishment.

We are parked at a high table at the side of the restaurant that allows us to view the entire restaurant and what they are eating. People watching is my favourite and most rewarding hobby. As I do suffer from a serious case of FOMO I never want to miss out on what the good options to select are. I make that know to our wonderful waiter Yoga who is a sheer delight. Back home, he’s someone I totally would be friends with. He points out, the already most popular menu items with ease and I simply follow his direction starting with Billy Ho’s twist of an Old Fashioned cocktail which is called a PB Old Fashioned. It’s kind of peanut butter in taste and served with two random gummy bears, those lollies kids would eat.

Somehow this all makes sense as I fall head over heals in love with Billy Ho. The menu is a laundry list of items divided into Dim Sum, Sushi, Nigiri, Small Plates and Large Plates. We ordered around 7 items and it’s really hard to pick a favourite as I liked (no I LOVED) everything which included Scallop & Prawn Dumpling, Prawn Dumpling, Flame Torched Salmond Tornado, Dynamite Spicy Salmon Roll, a very refreshing Cured Scallop and Aged Amberjack, Karaage Chicken Lollipop and Yakitori Chicken. And I rarely order dessert but even I surprised myself with the Cookies and Cream parfait.

My advice, absolutely go.

Loved the food, nice selections of Asian, Japanese fusion. Batu Bolong's restaurants are catching up with Seminyak and Canggu
