39Came here for breakfast and the menu was comprehensive, with great choices for breakfast. Tried the Jamu Temulawak, and it was unique, herbal and an acquired taste. Did the Jahmu shot, and it was spicy. The Dragon Fruit Smoothie Bowl came in a generous portion with decent blends of fruits, goji and blackcurrent. Staffs were friendly, helpful with explainations and efficient. There's a retail outlet within ten restaurant that sells unique stuffs! Would love to visit again.:)
Very impressive restaurant served with great cuisine and with reasonable price. Will come again with no doubt.
The place serves both Indo and western food. I had the local ayam Rica Rica and the beef pie. Both were delicious
What a gem. Whether you choose traditional or Asian high tea, it's a worthy experience and the staff are very friendly
Pricing is reasonable. But food is not that great. Nonetheless, food presentation was good. Came in for dinner and did not have to queue, was given a table straightaway. I ordered poke bowl (tastes weird) while hubs ordered Ikan pepes (still okay).
Fantastic. Aesthetic is that of English tea party, Gothic style, and jungle as this big hybrid. The food and drink is phenomenal, and my experience is that the cocktails are all made with imported liquor, so no worries about Bali belly.
I had the fish and chips (snapper) and my wife had the Mie Goreng (fried noodles), both of which were amazing.
We will be going back for High Tea one of these afternoons!
Great overall good offerings with very reasonable prices. Good mix of locals and tourists making this place extremely popular. Be prepared to wait for a table if you are dropping by without a booking in advance.
Efficient service. Great attention to details. Unfortunately some of them didn't really smile, although not rude. It's Bali, the land of smiling people, people!
This is one of the places in Bali where the staff (more specifically the reservation staff -and worse, the parking guy/security), discriminate their services based on looks and whether you're local or foreigner. Not cool, Biku. Not cool at all. Minus 2 stars for that.
Love the food, love the place, especially they have my favorite tumeric lemon honey drink. But this is my second time here, both times I'd gotta wait 30-40 minutes for the food, even when its not to many people inside.
My favorite place in Bali to have breakfast! I can’t get tired of it! Amazing traditional decor, nice staff, good portions, reasonable prices. It’s a must!
Unik tapi rasanya agak over sweet (tergantung selera)
Nice little spot to curl up with a book. The afternoon tea set is always consistently the same, and Biku has a great selection of teas for every preference. My favourite is the yunwu, a light and fragrant tea with a creamy aftertaste that goes well with their selection of small bites. The only flaw in in set is their sweets, which are kind of boring in variety and usually overwhelmingly sweet.
It's good but it's not great. The Indonesian dishes were fine but I don't think it's anything more than your standard warung affair. Didn't try the western stuff because.well, why would you come to an Indonesian restaurant for a club sandwich?
A rich man's feast at a poor man's prices. What more do you need? Each bite packed with flavor, leaving you in want of more. Prices are affordable compared to other locations and portions are filling. Everything here comes highly recommended. Don't miss out.
Love the ambience, rusted traditional jawamese house. Is great place for tea time meeting friends or date, not too crowded.
Quite feasibly Bali's best place for tea connoisseurs. I was made genuinely happy that they made speical effort to allow me to perform my own 'tea ceremony' by letting me use their utensils to brew my Tablingan Oolong (make a request if you want to try that). The staff was attentive enough to guide me through the brewing process. We ordered the food as well and it didn't disappoint, especially the Europe-style cheese board. The place itself is huge, with some outdoor setting to look out for.
Really not as expensive as the restaurants around but really good and fast! I was impressed by the rapidity! Staff really really nice.
The food was tasty enough, however, I got epic food poisoning that took me out for the entire next day. Would not recommend.
