Good foods, good ambiance, great service & friendly staff, and there are 2 cute ducks? Recommended

Very cool atmosphere, food was amazing and prices were equal. We really enjoyed the spring rolls, churros and chicken Katsu curry:)

Went for the ubud folkfestival. I really enjoyed the first music session on the Soûl Jam stage that was incredibly powerful. Really loved the local artists and the improvised jam they made together!
Also liked the little local market inside.

But for the rest. I bought 1 ticket because it was 260 000 IDR on the web site and did nt have enought cash on me, hoping it will be worth it because it is really expensive for Indonesia, also hoping I would have a good typical moment with a little, folk and local festival. Ok 50k was included for food and beverage

Don t know why but my friend that joined me did nt have to pay nothing to enter!?

The entrance staff did not give me the vourcher for the 50k, i had to struggle with their manager to understand and finally get a 50k vourcher.

By the way almost 80% of the menu items costs over 50k IDR with the 16% extra charge. Too expensive for the drink, the quantities could be more generous for the prices. Did nt check the food so I can t tell.

The staff inside and the people we met were really really kind hopefully.

But the frequentation is mostly wester hipe people, not bad but good to know, bc I personnally was not expecting that

Akhir pekan lalu tanggal 2,3,4 June 2023, ada sebuah event musik bertajuk Ubud Folk Fest. Selama tiga hari ada beragam kegiatan seperti Talkshow, Workshop, dan Band Performance. Adapun beberapa line upnya seperti Navicula, LAIR, The Nameks, Iksan Skuter, PIGA, Souljam. Pada kegiatan talkshow diisi oleh Robi Navicula, Ajik Anom Antida, Bli Rudolf Dethu, Bli Jason Kresna. Selain Talkshow dan Band Performance, ada juga kegiatan workshop lino cut, melukis, dan mewarnai wayang.
Kegiatan berjalan dengan lancar walau sempat hujan pada saat pembukaan.
Terima kasih Ubud Folk Fest telah mengijinkan bergabung menjadi volunteer di tahun ini

But, could you make strict quality control for the food ingredients?

I was ordered prawn gyoza and chicken parmigiana.

The gyoza's prawn seems not fresh and have fishy aroma. It's not fresh ingredient. You'll make the customer have stomachache.

Also the chicken parmigiana's tomato sauce seems you didn't cook it well. I feel the sauce and the floured chicken just seems prepared 2-3 days ago. You didn't cook it well, bad experience for the foods!

Happy hour with two large party groups, a birthday, and always excellent live music! ️Biji on Friday nights!

FYI: beware with the female manager named Ami she like to do discrimination among the guests who came to Biji world, she will choose the guest the one look Rich, she treated the guest differently, the local one she doesn’t care that much, the one she care and welcome is Chinese and Caucasian only, she will greeted those type of people, serve them. She is very fake personality. I’ve been observe this place almost 2 years. This kind of behaviour can’t be Tolerate. The food is fantastic here and especially the architecture are amazing. I hope the owner of this place notice my review to improve your restaurant. I’m a As Caucasian I don’t feel special when you treat me differently. You should treat all the customers the same.

Didn't get to try the food but I'm sure it's good.
An incredible fusion of bar/live music, jewellery, bakery, chill out - it's hard to describe the concept, but it employs and encourages local projects, staff - check out thier YouTube.
The rock band was EXCELLENT for new years eve, followed by some cool DJs.
I think I'd rather keep this spot a secret before it gets swamped like the rest of Ubud.

Modern design with both outdoor and indoor area for dining!
We tried the sushi it was a generous portions and was made if fresh ingredients.
Price is a little steep and well justified given the service, quality and portion sizes.
Outdoor area is very relaxing with specially designs which are perfect for photography.
We will definitely come back to try more dishes here.

Beautiful place, nice dishes. Tried salmon steak and beef bowl, both was great. Prices are reasonable for a place like this. Cooking wasn't too long.
