BATIK Restaurant Bar

I was a bit concerned before going in since the most recent reviews mentioned a decline of quality. But I’d say that food is pretty decent. I mean, not “authentic” but why would you go into a fusion restaurant if you want “authentic” regional cuisine. The laksa is good more mild than “authentic” ones so suitable for friends just getting into SEA spices. I like the Thai chicken burger too. And sambal and spaghetti are a surprisingly good mix.
Only star off is for the service which like many previous reviewers mentioned is lackluster especially for Bali
Also I tried sex on the beach (cocktail) mostly for its name. I think it’s too strong for me. I get heavy headed after 2/3 of the serving.

Great food! First food we had here, and we were pleasantly surprised and loved it immediately! Looks quite fancy inside, but seems kind of low key anyway.

Wow we just stumbled in this place and I felt the need to leave a positive review. The inside is great and service and food were extremely quick. Very reasonable priced for the area and the food was amazing

Order thai tom yum soup dan ginger crush. Rasanya mirip percis seperti tom yum yang saya pernah coba di restoran bangkok 10/10

My boyfriend and I have travelled Bali for 5 weeks, and went here in the start of our trip, and knew we had to come back. The food is so delicious and full of taste, and the place is so beautiful with such a cozy vibe to it. Would recommend for everyone coming to Seminyak! The green and red thai curry is a MUST (but the red i very spicy).

Outside, you can stroll along the promenade and people watch while relaxing with a coffee or settling down with a delicious salad. I had the pleasure of meeting some great people there, which made the experience even better. The staff is extremely friendly and kind, making the visit a completely pleasant experience. Thought the food was average and the service to match compared to some of the other restaurants in the area

Staff was very nice and helpful, the ambiance is great for lunch or dinner with friends and families. The parking though very limited, we have to park our car in the sidewalk.there’s some minor thing i would like to point out though, maybe it would be better for the cook and everyone in the kitchen to wear hairnet to refrain the object being inside of foods.

Parkir memang tdk tersedia secara khusus, jdi parkir mobil/motor hrus di seberang sekitar restoran dan jujur memang agak kesulitan mencari parkir pas jam-jam makan krn pelanggan restoran lain jg parkir di sekitar situ. Kmrn sempat telpon utk reservasi dan dikatakan utk 5 orang ke atas full booked, kalau misal di bawah itu bisa booking. Kemudian disarankan utk coba saja dtg lgsg.saya hampir saja memutuskan pindah restoran krn dikatakan full, eh ternyata restorannya bisa dibilang tdk serame itu dan banyak kursi yg msih kosong. Sepertinya banyak yg cancel bookingan malam itu. Pelayanan ramah, harga memang tergolong pricey. Tempatnya bagus dan otentik. Hanya saja jika foto malam memang tdk sebagus saat msih pagi-siang. Menu yg saya makan malam itu: spagethi terasi (rating 7/10)
Jujur sebagai menu yg direkomendasikan, saya rasa menu ini terlalu biasa saja rasanya. Bahkan rasa terasinya sangat kurang dan malah lebih mirip bolognese.

We order an appetizer and lunch and still left hungry.
The atmosphere of the place is nice and service was good but the portions were small and the pad Thai was tasteless.
The lumpia tasted fresh out of a frozen box and although the salad was decent but again small portion for the price.

I don't recommend the risotto. Otherwise the place is nice, the service was good, and the chicken in coconut milk was pretty good.

Elegant restaurant with batik accent on all part of furniture and wall. Location in the middle of Seminyak hilarity Food is good, althou bit pricey but it worth.

Located at crowded position. Restaurant architecture is really beautiful, dishes acceptable. Highly recommend

Lucky that i choose Laksa for my lunch, so i can give 5 stars rate. The restaurant’s ambience is very authentic Indonesian style. The staff is very welcomed and nice. The laksa soup is beyond my expectation, it is delicious. The price is average in every restaurant in seminyak, but worth the taste.

The ambience and place was great, but the food was terrible. They claimed that they specialized mostly in Thai cuisine, but the taste was awful. The drinks were rather good and unique.

Would give an 7.5 /10 overall for the whole package. (3.5 stars in this rating)
Food quality good enough. Prices over average for asian food. Preparation time (quiet long) tbhonest wait quiet a while to be served.
Not any offer or packages for groups or big orders is a downside.
Overall a nice ambiance and good service.

Very acid or bitter mocktails. The food is made of low quality ingredients and is under average concerning quality-quantity/price
