Baruna Cottages

Be aware that you actually cannot book on this "hotel". Instead you will be accommodated in the Batur Green Lake by the same owner apparently because the rooms are in too poor condition. However, the cottages at Batur Green Lake are also in a very poor condition, and very dirty. See my seperate review on this. And so no swimming pool.:)

quiet and calm place. I really enjoy my quiet moment here.visitors came by, even ants on my bed. Bugs/ants on the floor is common in Bali but ants on the bed just uncomfortable for me as I have sensitive skin. But it's gone after I clean it.since the room hasn't been used for awhile you might want to give some disinfectant spray or maybe just put a dupa so it smells least weird.
The situation in Bali and the world is not healthy right now, hang in there. You have a very amazing place and thank you for your hospitality and cute puppies.

Place with really big potential but because of few things I totally didn't enjoy my stay there. In the room I felt in the horror movie, really humid, smell of the wood and blanket instead of bedding. Breakfast was really good - Kadek is really good chef but I felt uncomfortable because kitchen was really dirty. I spend there 3 night it was completely new experience but i hope they will renewal this object.

The View from the room is incredible. You stay directly at the lake of Mount Batur. The Staff is so helpful and nice! Stayed here two times. Fully recommended!

I spend my best days in Bali in this hotel. The view, the freshness and the friendly staff made our staying fabulous. Worth to spend few days here as a main base from witch you would travel around in the center north.
Try the local food such as the lake fish and the chillies.

Cons are the mostly about renovation and old equipments that would deserve more investments and attention, but in the end it did not impact that much our confort nore our feeling about the place.
