Located on Jalan Petitenget, this is a excellent choice for fine dining. Local cuisine is made to exceptional standards.with the good being sumptiosnand a fantastic representation of food from around the archipelago.

The setting is beautiful and definitely a must for a lovely dining experience. Wait staff are super friendly and are jave a great understanding of what is on the menu.

We had the Udang Galah Sambal to start, tiger prawn with a lovely sambal sauce and the Sapi Dapu Dapu, beef with a lovely chili and lime salsa from Sulawesi. Mains were the the jackfruit curry and the Bebek Dangot, slow cooked duck leg. All the food was delicately prepare and elegantly presented.

The food is well prepared, but portions are small. What we did not appreciate was that the waiters were constantly on our back to take away the plates as soon as we made a pause and enjoyed the moment; they put lots of pressure on us to speed up our meal and leave the table for the next customers. This has negatively impacted on our mood. There are many other good restaurants in this area which are much less commercial. I would not recommend

One of my new favourite restaurants for 2022. High quality traditional balinese and Indonesian food presented in a modern way and in a beautiful waterside setting. I recommend sharing, we (2 ppl) went straight into mains and share d the Ayam Pedas Kemangi, and the Babi Guling with sweet potato coconut curry and sweet corn fritters on the side. The meal size was perfect, the food was absolutely delicious and the service is amazing. The owner of this restaurant should be very proud of what they have achieved.

Bambu did not let us down - solid service, food and ambience all around. We enjoyed their renditions of Indonesian favourites in both style and taste, although our favourite might have been the prawn glass noodle appetiser!

Me and my husband really enjoyed the food we ate that night on my Birthday dinner. The food are amazing, the service is great! We did enjoy the food plus visiting my brother cause he works in Bambu

Amazing food with amazing drinks, its one of the best Balinese cuisine restaurants in bali, everything we ordered was really good and the cocktails are also amazing!

Extremely average food, nothing stood up. Get better food in the street. Only the decor was worth it. We were 6 people. No one found their dish great. This was actually our worst meal of our trip.

On a recent visit to Seminyak with my boyfriend, I visited Bambu on a recommendation from our Concierge. We booked a table as our last meal in Bali, looking for an upscale, yet authentic restaurant that would deliver quality in both cuisine and atmosphere. On arrival, we were greeted immediately by a well dressed staff, and were astonished with the stunning design of Bambu. The main dining area is situated under a temple of sorts, which ‘floats’ on a gorgeous pool of water, with small stone steps leading towards it’s platform. The main dining area is hidden from street view, which also isolates noise and exterior distraction, leaving your experience as intimate and romantic as possible. The menu is as described - classic Indonesian cuisine, elevated with European influence. I loved the seamless integration of western flavor, and regional menu attributes to the origin of a specific dish. I selected a Balinese stew with crab, noodles, and tiger prawn, and my boyfriend the seasonal fish wrapped in banana leaves, with traditional market style pikelets (laklak) for dessert. Our meal was noted as the best in Bali, and one of our favorites throughout our lifetime - seriously. The most exceptional, was the service and affordability. Two entrees, a desert, water, wine, and complimentary rice crackers added up to a simple $51 USD (worth close to $200 if dined in the U. S.). All in all, don’t turn away from it’s subpar website with blurry photos, and trust a well traveled foodie when I say Bambu is Bali’s finest interior dining.

Indonesian cuisine is so underrated. Bambu showcases the best from the archipelago. A fantastic dining experience indeed. Desserts are a must try, so save some space for that.

One of the best restaurants in Bali. Their menu has a lot to offer and serves variety of cocktails. Hospitality is very good and staff members are very polite. Ambiance is quite elegant with poolside tables allocated all across the restaurant. Make sure you make a booking on the weekends as this place is always buzzing. In short, Superb food, elegant atmosphere and great service.

Excellent restaurant, food is great, the design inside, or outside I suppose is beautiful, takes you away from the carnage of scooters the other side of the wall. 2 courses and 2 drinks cost 1.1m Idr, expensive but worth it it thought. Thought the service was quite slow though

Food and staff were incredible. One of the best meals I've had anywhere in one of the best locations.

If you took this place out of Bali and inserted it into one of the major world capitals then you'd have a Michelin star restaurant.

The most incredible meal I’ve had in a very long time. Best meal in Bali. We are still raving about it days later. Do yourself a favour and get the prawns, ceviche, everything really!

Their Indonesian cooking definitely were not for local's standard. They have a decent sambal uleg though. The only thing worth agreement as others reviewer were their interior design, delicately elegant.
Rp. 30k for a portion of Peyek (type of Javanese cracker) was too outrageous.

Depending on the time of day, it can get pretty crowded here but it is worth the wait. A perfect triumvirate of flavors, leaving you in want of more. Got a pretty good portion size for a relatively modest price. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area.

Fantastic. Everything on the menu was sensational, especially the appetisers. Place itself is beautiful and very welcoming, our waiter amazing, and prices reasonable for the quality. Leave room for dessert!

We had our orders forgotten in this place and waiters adamant that they had put the order in, and yet the food had not arrived by the end everyone else had eaten. Fancy place but needs to work in their service by a long way to understand how to let their customers have a good experience. Food was sufficiently good for the price.

Exemplary ambience and quality food. We got the ayam chicken and the vegetarian platter. Haven't had food of this quality all trip. Must try during your stay
