Balila Beach Resort

Small authentic haven of peace far from the hustle and bustle with access to a small, quiet beach frequented only by locals and fishermen. It's hard to find a more peaceful place in Bali!

I arrived and fell in love with this place. It is true what other people say: the staff isn’t just staff, they become family. I doubled the amount of nights I stayed without thinking twice about it.

Bali gives you what you need most. I found Balila and magical things unfolded. Leaving this place, these people and Dora the dog was emotional but meeting them has been the greatest gift I could receive.

Don’t think twice, go there if you love a space with amazing energy surrounded by (very!) powerful nature. The food is to die for and the staff will also become your family. You won’t regret it.

A very good place for time together, excellent restaurant, great view from the veranda. The atmosphere is such that you don't want to leave. There is a yoga room.

We are very disappointed with our stay at Balila.because unfortunately we only booked 1 night!
The resort is set in a beautiful garden, with a great view of the bay from our room.
We were warmly welcomed by Desak, who explained and showed us everything. She is really adorable!
We liked the whole concept of the hotel (zero waste, own cultivation or local procurement of food,). The dishes were all fresh and delicious. The room was airy and had a bathroom outside, which was something different. It takes about 20 minutes to walk along the beach to Amed.
Absolutely good value for money, we felt very comfortable and would come back at any time!

Walking in and you can't help it. Stress just falls away. Nothing here is perfect, and yet it is a perfect place to stay! Amazing welcome, wonderful, caring staff, a place to feel at home. The sunrise room was perfect. The shala is an inspiring place for practice.
One can relax by the pool right next to the wholefood restaurant and enjoy the fantastic view.
The beach is great too, very quiet like the whole place. If it wasn't booked out, we'd stayed longer. We'll definitely come back - highly recommend!

We stayed there for 3 nights. It was really hard for us to leave as it was really a very nice stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
The rooms were nicely furnished and clean. The complex is located directly on a beautiful secluded beach that you usually have to yourself.
All in all, we can only recommend this accommodation to everyone.

Which place! One of my last favorite places in Bali. The location: far from tourism between ocean and Ajung on a beach shared only with locals. The cuisine: excellent, varied, healthy and respectful of the environment. The view from the sunrise bungalow and especially at sunrise! Great massage from Made. And the whole team is so caring and caring. Thanks Desa and everyone else.

You never know who u might meet here! A very interesting nexus!
Chakra rooms are quite basic for the price is only thing. Bring earplugs those waves r loud at night!

Balila it’s unique spot around Bali, with space for yoga and meditation practice, sea it’s just foot a part:) friendly stuff, good menu in restaurant, perfect to take a deep breath and relax, here for a long time already, enjoying the nature

Seriously, I'm not kidding. You won't find a place like this in Amed. It's all cute and fine and beachfront UNTIL you realize a PRIVATE beach (shared with locals) is much better.

And I won't even talk about the food and staff. 10/10 stars (and hearts)

We stayed here for a couple of nights and got to experience beautiful sunrises over the ocean and sunsets over mount Agung. The resort is very close to the beach, which is only really frequented by locals and fishermen. The kitchen staff, manager and the dogs & cats were also great ;) Would love to visit again!
