Bali Zoo, Kampung Sumatra

Our visit at Bali Zoo was a thrilling experience. It's a well-maintained sanctuary that provided us with a chance to connect with a diverse array of animals, from exotic birds to Sumatran tigers. The zoo's commitment to education and conservation shines through engaging exhibits and informative talks - we found it both entertaining and educational. The highlight is the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the animals. The management and staff seem to be mindful of responsible tourism and animal welfare concerns, ensuring their interactions prioritize the well-being of the creatures that call Bali Zoo home. Retrospectively I am conflicted about the elephant ride we took. It was an exquisite experience on our part but I am not sure how these magnificient animals felt about the ride though. All in all I would visit again and highly recommend it.

Great experience on elephants, but I would have liked more guidance as tourists the just point at gate, either no map to navigate. Also, the elephant ride was almost two 2hours' wait time. Which was annoying as we wanted to see other animals, but due to no information, we missed a lot, and animals were not out on display. Ask 2 staff members, for help and they just pointed to various directions. So recommend to go with someone who knows there zoo

It’s wonderful to see all the animals are very well treated here. I love the course, you can take double decker bus every 6mins to reach another part of the zoo. Its quite wide and you can enjoy different areas with different landscapes. If you are looking for varied kind of animals, this zoo is a little bit small compared to other zoo in Indonesia. But their animals are super fun to play with!

Nice zoo in general. The lone tiger in his way too small cage had no more life left in him under those conditions, broke my heart to see…

The breakfast with Orang Utans was a very nice experience where you have the chance to get really close to some animals including Orang Utans (obviously), Elephants, Rabbits and couple of Birds. The breakfast itself was neither good nor bad but also more from secondary matter. The staff offers to feed some of the animals for a small fee which enables you take make some remarkable photos.

Apart from the breakfast with Orang Utans, which is a dedicated epxerience you have to book the Zoo is not super big but offers the chance to see lots of apes/monkeys, lions, tigers. Nice is the oppornuity to feed couple of animals which gives you the chance to come really close to them.

I went with my family of 10! I forgot to pick it up on the way home from the group photo and put it away. I'm so sorry.

It's a cool zoo, animals seem to be treated very well. Deers are very friendly and you can approach them. Feeding the elephants is also cool. 4/5 stars only because there are not so many animals to see.

Well maintained zoo, a lot of attractions, I can say most of the animals look healthy, the place also clean, the staff very helpful. Good place to visit with family.

We went without booking to this zoo. We loved the proposed route. There are lots of species, and you can feed them.

A great visit, very easy to get pretty close to all the animals. The park is well kept after and fun for kids. The waterpark area has become pretty rundown in the last 5 years, could use a new paintjob. All the extra's like breakfast with animals or elephant rides, are not really our jam.

Saya hapus keluhan tsb per tgl 7 Des 2021, setelah adanya percakapan via wa call dgn staff dari Bali zoo dgn menjelaskan kejadiannya.

Harga makanan di food stall sangat mahal dan tidak masuk akal
1 biji Aqua tanggung 600 ml. = 20 rb
Makanan ayam Jackie fried chicken 1 porsi termasuk nasi dan teh botol sosro = 50 rb blm termasuk PPN 15 persen.

Yg murah di food court yg jual pizza nasgor yg ada akuarium landak mini bersebelahan dgn Playground.
Dsana nasgor 50 rb disc 10 rb utk semua makanan

The entrance fee (100,000 IDR) is normal, but the photo price is more expensive than i thought (IDR 280,000 per photo). But lots of animals there, and my son enjoyed it. Please remember to bring umbrella in rainy season.

One of the best Zoo in Bali.plan to visit here, because our son got FREE voucher last years, but was cancelled by the management due to corona pandemic. So here we are.

The animals here are active, fat, and released almost like on its natural habitat.best part here,
the building is maintained well so it doesnt look dirty or gross like other zoo we know.

The staff was friendly, and doesnt ask for tips

Theres a buy 2 get 1 small cup FREE for its gelato (@IDR 45k / cup)

Theres a small museum on the 3rd floor, and telescope sightseeing on top floor)

Its best to visit on Sunny Day

They also have rooftop deck bus to travel between both terminals.

BEST part is:
you can get friendly with Jalak Bali, kancil, and Lemur (like in the movie madagascar)

Theres also breakfast with orangutan,
and feeding elephants etc for IDR 45k, feeding tiger, etc

the souvenir shops also quite fun (you can buy mini observation kits), shirt, bags, etc

and you can also bath with elephants (ask hotel staff for more informations)

Saya merasa senang sekali saya rasanya pengen ke zoo pelayanannya sangat bagus dan saya sering bawa sepeda yg sangat jauh.trima kasi zoo zoo yg terbaik bagi saya.

Pengalaman menyenangkan karena pas kesini untungnya ga rame, bisa jalan santai, cm map nya agak membingungkan untuk membaca alur sirkulasinya.overall cukup puas kesini bisa langsung interaksi sama beberapa jenis binatang.

Was ok, supposed to be fun but was raining, so the fun is less. They should provide more umbrella service than making people buying disposable raincoats. Toddlers would have difficulties wearing the one size raincoats.

Wahana ada beberapa titik yang kurang terawat, mulai dari kebersihan dan hewan ada beberapa terlihat kurus. Kedepannya lebih baik memberi makanan tepat waktu dan menjaga kebersihan agar lebih terawat.
