As a seasoned visitor to Bali over the course of 14 years, I am compelled to provide a review that not only captures attention but also offers valuable insights into my recent stay at a specific hotel.

Regrettably, despite my extensive experience in Bali, I must report that the hotel in question falls within the lower tier of accommodations. With an unwavering commitment to transparency, I present my findings to assist discerning travelers in making well-informed decisions.

One of the most disheartening aspects of my stay was the beach, which failed to live up to the vibrant and lively expectations typically associated with Bali's coastal areas. Instead of a bustling and energetic shoreline, I encountered a disappointingly desolate and poorly maintained expanse. This unexpected absence of beach culture deviated from the vivacity and allure Bali is renowned for.

In terms of the rooms, their size was commendable, but their outdated decor left much to be desired. Numerous reports circulated among guests regarding malfunctioning bedside plugs, flickering toilet lights, and the absence of consistently hot water during showers, with only lukewarm temperatures available. Despite being advised to wait for the generator to warm up within 30 minutes, no discernible improvement was observed, rendering the suggestion ineffective.

Although the hotel staff exhibited a degree of friendliness, their responsiveness to guest needs was notably lacking. The breakfast offerings, often considered a vital part of the guest experience, were disappointingly limited in variety and choices. It is worth mentioning that an air of condescension was occasionally present among the breakfast staff when simple requests, such as milk with coffee, were made.

Nevertheless, it is important to acknowledge the hotel's redeeming quality, which lies in its architectural design. The incorporation of authentic Balinese style in the construction of the hotel is visually captivating and pays homage to the enduring cultural heritage of the region.

The Wi-Fi on the other hand is awful around your rooms and have to either go outside your room or on the balcony of your room to pick up a slow Wi-Fi connection. It more of a headache than peace of mind.

Furthermore, due to the hotel's inadequate support and underwhelming offerings, I found it necessary to seek alternative accommodations in order to reinvigorate the holiday experience. Frustrated by the unsatisfactory nature of my stay, I made the decision to book an additional three nights at a different hotel in Nusa Dua Beach. This strategic move aimed to recapture the essence of a fulfilling and rejuvenating vacation that had been lacking at the initial hotel. It reflects my unwavering commitment to maximizing my time in Bali and finding solace in an environment that genuinely embraces the principles of outstanding hospitality.

In conclusion, I strongly encourage discerning travelers to carefully consider their options. It would be prudent to explore neighboring hotels, conveniently situated near the Bali Collection or Nusa Dua Beach, which embody the pinnacle of service excellence that Bali has to offer. By refraining from selecting this particular hotel, one can be assured of finding superior alternatives that will undoubtedly enhance their overall experience.

Beautiful resort with well maintained gardens and beach, pool was a great place to 'chill' all the staff very friendly and helpful, special thanks must go to Rahayu who was always available for help and advice, rooms a good size and clean

I was there for 6 days, and that was very good time for relaxed. Good food and drinks for all the time. Possibility to take some massage at the SPA spot. If you want take some gym exercise, you can do it. If you wanna swim, there is quite big pool with drinking area. Also you can use a water sports.

Food was sub standard. Terrible steak, over cooked and over tenderised. Dirty baked potato, worst ribs of the holiday. 20 mins wait for 3 soft drinks with only 1 other table.

All outdoor too so prepare for the mossies or do yourself a favour nd eat elsewhere

Very average experience here. The staff are friendly and the room was clean but the hotel amenities are dated and there is lots of focus on an upsell once you arrive as opposed to a focus on giving the guest the best experience. I feel this hotel lacks heart. I wouldn't come back here again.

Great place. However the air conditioner did not work. We informed and they came to make it twice and then moved us to another room. But that air conditioner did not work well either.
Apart from that food was good and water amazing once the tide comes in.

Super Hotel, alles sehr gepflegt und detailverliebt. Die Bungalows sind sauber und groß. Das Essen ist erstklassig, die Cocktails lassen manchmal zu wünschen übrig. Personal superfreunflich und zwar alle, angefangen vom Zimmerboy über Kellner bis zur Rezeption.
Super Pool und auch das Meer ist spitze.
Alles in allen ein super Urlaub.
Sehr zu empfehlen.

Hotel Bali Tropic terletak tepat di pantai Tanjung Benoa di sebelah Nusa Dua, dengan luas sekitar 3ha. Tempat ini cocok untuk menikmati liburan yang santai dengan menyenangkan dengan suasana tenang.

Served various kind of buffet, with extraordinary taste and delightful atmosphere. The price worth with the service. Recommended indeed

A very nice resort for the price, staff are very friendly and helpful. The resort has good amenities and the grounds are well maintained.

The staff is very friendly. The rooms are very fancy and clean, typical Balinese architecture, the outdoors are gorgeous and the swimming pool is awesome. The food is not very varied but it was delicious.

Balinese owned and managed for nearly 30yrs. Creating jobs for there locals. Traditional Balinese food and western. Freindly helpful staff, normal hotel rooms small and most dont have a view. Bungalows Are the best choice for comfort.views, and close to pool and resturants. Large rooms, best amenities for bali owned. Service is outstanding.

Unfortunately did not have a very good experience here, so I would like to share a few details about my experience.

Room: initially located at the first floor but as soon as I unpacked, I noticed a toilet leak. The lower floor rooms glass doors and windows are directly facing the walkway so if you need any privacy you need to keep the curtains closed at all times.

WiFi: Terrible connection despite changing rooms, ok for checking emails or sending quick messages but I had to visit other hotels in the area to use internet.

SPA: tried the Signature massage and ended with a 90min torture session with poorly trained staff member with long fingernails leaving me with a scratched back. She also managed to accidentally drip very hot oil on my back. You can get much better service at any local SPA for half the price.

Beach: Small, shallow beach densely populated by kelp. Several boats park next to it so there is a constant petrol smell in the water.

Restaurant: Since the hotel offers optional all inclusive packages the quality of the food is poor even if you are not using all-inclusive. The pool bar serves possibly the worst sate in Bali.

Pool: Well maintained and clean, but expect a constant crowed of drunk people around the pool bar. Again due to all-inclusive option.

Staff: the staff were the best thing the hotel had to offer. Friendly and helpful, they are very good at recommending restaurants and arranging tours. Just be careful when using the hotel affiliated transportation since they try to over change you. It is much better to make use of metered taxis.

Overall: if you are not too picky about beaches and are looking for an all-inclusive hotel to spend your time getting smashed at the pool bar this is definitely the place for you. For all the rest of humanity, do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

The staff was so friendly it was incredible. The breakfast was varried, and during the day there were activities in the resort such as Balinese music lessons.

Fancy and clean, beautiful Balinese architecture and gardens. Peaceful and it has a great swimming pool. The staff also is very friendly.

We ordered sheesha at ratna bar, it was extremely windy and the service was below average.they refused to change the coal
