Great experience, Julien our teacher was great as was Théo, we even came back for a second lesson the next day!

The experience was wonderful, I couldn't have chosen a better place for the class. The teacher is very attentive and gave me a lot of safety, in fact they provide all the safety materials, I even wore a helmet! I hope to return to Bali again and repeat the class!

I recommend Julien and his team 100%. If you are a beginner, its spot is perfect, only sand so no risk of hurting yourself in the rocks unlike Canggu! Everything is taken care of, lycra, sunscreen, bottles of cold water, and even transport to your hotel. Julien is very friendly, professional and patient. He will put you at ease, adapt to all levels and give you the best advice to progress. Thank you again and see you soon I hope!

We did the initiation course with a friend, we had never surfed before and we were able to really enjoy it. I was worried about doing a good part of the course on the sand but it didn't happen like that at all. The explanations on the sand were very brief, it was just what we needed to be able to catch our first waves. The team is great and the organization is perfect.

Great experience for an introduction to surfing with Julien. We were both able to surf standing up very quickly thanks to his advice and what's more, he was super friendly. It makes me want to do many more.

We discovered Bali Ocean Surf in 2014 when my husband wanted to try surfing for the first time. The experience was brief but intense ;-)
We came back in 2016,2018 and at the time of writing this review, we have just returned from Bali where we of course concluded our stay with Bali Ocean Surf. My husband and two of our children (17 and 13) took a “sensation” course (5 days). Our two other children (15 and 13 years old) took part in an “initiation” course.
They all loved it and are only asking for one thing: to come back. (Well, I think my husband would really like to move in next to the school… but that will have to wait a bit.)
We like the philosophy of Bali Ocean Surf: they are pros who work with passion and who are committed to supporting each of their customers with kindness and good humor. As a spectator, I find it great to see my family having fun on the boards and, behind them, Julien, Pierrick, Mathis and the other members of the Bali Ocean Surf team raise their arms and exclaim “Wow! Awesome! “: when the apprentice surfer gets up and manages to slide on the wave, it is as if his coach vibrates with him.
What we also like with Bali Ocean Surf is the pedagogy, supervision and safety. We play with the ocean but surf responsibly.
Finally, what we like is the energy of beach 66. After your lesson in the afternoon, take the time to sit down to admire the sunset while sipping your drink in the colorful armchairs. Savor the moment. Julien and the others will always be ready to share slices of life and advice on places to visit. Well, from time to time they also like to recall France's victory against Belgium in 2018.but don't hold it against them)

Do not hesitate for a second if you are looking for a surf school in the south of Bali! You can go there with your eyes closed, Julien and the rest of the team will supervise you perfectly and will make you spend a pure moment of sliding. The school is in a great location on Legian!
