I can not say enough good things about Bali Bisa - attending this academy was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Today was my graduation day & my head is full of knowledge (ancient eastern modalities & modern day science alike)

This is truly WORLD CLASS education at its finest. (I have trained in New York City as well as in London prior & I am truly amazed with this academy)

All of the instructors are such beautiful people, as well as being extremely knowledgeable.

I highly recommend this academy to anyone that wants to expand their education in a peaceful supportive environment with professional ethics, standards & class.

As a couple we did a one day Balinese Massage Course and it was great. Our trainer, June, taught us the essential things, and we had so much fun.

Tini was an extremely attentive and capable instructor for our one-day massage course. She gave detailed directions about each of the moves and it was clear to me that she cared that we did them right. With Tini’s support, we got to practice on a model (someone who kindly stepped in for a free massage!) right away. We were shy at first, but it ended up being a low pressure way to practice and get instant feedback on our skills. The BISA compound is an oasis in Denpasar and the staff there are a joy to work with. We will be back!

I took a Balinese massage course as a complete beginner. By the end of the fifth day, I was able to give a 60 minute massage thanks to my primary instructor Rini and others around Bali Bisa that helped give me guidance and feedback. It was a challenging and intimidating experience as a newbie, but with the help, knowledge and experience of all of the people here, I gained confidence throughout the week.

Anybody considering learning how to do basically any type of massage should feel confident that the staff here will help grow their practice. I can't recommend Bali Bisa enough.

Top class massage training!

I attended two 5 day courses over 2 weeks at BISA in September. The 2 trainers I had for 5 days Bamboo massage training (Dani) and 5 days Warm Stone massage training (Eny) were both fabulous teachers: both knowledgeable about their subject material and kind and patient in their manner and teaching methodology. I didn't expect to be the only student in the class - which in some ways was great as I got one to one tuition for 2 weeks, but also meant there wasn't the usual group interaction, or opportunity to practice on other students, that I have experienced on other courses. So if your preferred learning style is in a group setting do check whether it's a group or solo class before you book.

The school is clearly very professionally managed and the course designed to meet International standards (or in this case British standards as the examining bodies BISA has chosen are the British examiners CIBTAC and VCTC). Having done most of my massage training in India and Thailand - where there was little theoretical training and no written examinations - this wasn't important to me but I can see how some students starting out in the profession would value courses that are internationally accredited.

The school was very understanding about my twice changing my mind about which course I wanted to do in the second week (I had originally signed up for the Body Scrubs and Wraps course, but asked to switch to Balinese massage when I arrived in Bali and realised that in room washing facilities would be needed for such treatments.and then I changed my mind again when my Bamboo massage teacher extolled the virtues of the Warm Stone course). So thanks, guys, for being so flexible and accommodating!
