Bali 2000 Cycling

At the beginning of August 2023, the four of us cycled around Ubud with Bali 2000 Cycling. Started with a nice coffee and tea tasting and ended with a delicious lunch. Good bikes and also a very nice guide. The course is certainly not too difficult, great for both older and younger people.

Had a fantastic bike ride guided by Katut. Very sweet guide, who agrees in advance what the wishes are and makes the program for the day clear. Speaks good English and shows Ubud at its best. The driver, who constantly followed us, was also great. Help to cross, help to get on, help push your child up the mountain, set up the bikes properly. Nothing was too much for him.
We enjoyed it immensely.

Great cycling tour with many things to see in between. Especially because we had no other program that day, we also visit the luwat coffee place for a tour and cat-phoo-chino. At the end we also visited our guides house to see how the locals life. And our request we drove by car to the budha silver fabric. Thanks for the great adventure, highly recommended.

Amazing.what a beautifull trip in Ubud. You pass through authenic village and through the rice fields. You come to places that you not find yourself. If you want you can also medidate swimming at a beautifull place. At last you get also a very tasteful lunch with friendly people. Our special thanks go to the top guide (Pong) and the driver. We enjoyed our touring of Ubud's outskirts through the small communities, side streets and rice paddies. Our guide was good in english and told us a lot about the town's culture. He also told us that he has different routes for beginners and experienced cyclists.

For beginners, he takes them on paved areas which require basic handling skills. If he sees that your handling is good, he'll take you through the more scenic, but narrower and rougher, route in the middle of rice paddies and through hidden paths.

We had a great biking experience. We visited one temple, one mediation place in the the middle of the nature, one school in one of the villages and also one traditional market. Of course the highlight of this tour were the rice fields, but our guide made everything nice and enjoyable, because he was speaking quite good English comparative with other guides we met in Bali/Lombok and he made also a lot of jokes. He also gave us a lot of information about Balinese traditions, their family life and how they raise up their children. Thank you for this great biking tour. I'm only sorry we forgot his name.
