Ayung Dewata Rafting

A beautiful and enjoyable experience, but the problem and the big drawback that may make some people tired and what suits them is that you have to go down 300 stairs and climb 150 stairs if you finish. I mean, the issue requires decency, and I saw people in front of me who were completely exhausted.

The rafting itself was great, BUT even the flyer was missing an important piece of information: namely 300 steps that lead down to the river and which you then have to climb back up, so absolutely not for people with walking difficulties or knee or Achilles tendon problems. The steps were twice as high as normal/usual steps. As nice as the rafting was, I wouldn't do it a second time.

Fantastic place and an amazing adventure. Guides are great, food is awesome, showers with hot water everything is just fantastic.

One call-out but not to the staff or the place they are 100% for you.
This call-out is to you dear reader: it's water, it's river, it has a current and all the beautiful things you see are made of wood and rock. It can (and mostly will be) a joyful ride but during rainy season it can be a bit more then that. Please follow the tour guide instructions for your and other people safety. If the guy tells to row you put in that effort.

Absolutely love this place and will definitely return (this was my 2nd trip with them).

The rafting was so much fun, and our rafting guide was excellent. Just make sure you can go down and up lots of stairs. The stairs were hard for both me and my wife.

If you enlarge the picture and look closely, you can see monkeys. This is the view I saw as soon as I went down the steep stairs. There are so many monkeys that I don’t think you need to go to Monkey Forest. I was worried that it would be difficult for elementary school girls, but they had fun. One of the staff followed along and rowed hard, played pranks, and spoke so well that it was a time where there was no time to get bored. But after the rafting, people started saying how crazy the stairs were going up, so I don't think I'll ever do it again. After rafting, take a shower and have a buffet or meal at the restaurant inside. There were a few foods, but I felt bad after seeing the sanitary conditions.

We had so much fun, definitely one of the best activities we've done here in Bali. Super lovely and good guide and great fun. Both adrenaline-filled when the river is rocky and steep, but also calmer stretches where you could walk in and swim. The nature around is absolutely incredible. We definitely recommend.

Great adventure, nice views, good organization. During the trip, a visit to the waterfall.
For people who have mobility problems or are simply in poor physical condition, getting down to the pontoons and then returning may be a problem. The descent is 250 degrees, sometimes high, in the jungle, which means high humidity. The return is similar, only uphill and in the sun. Some people really had a problem with this. On the other hand, the guides are very helpful, they wait and help.

Great experience and stunning scenery on the Ayung river! We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel which made it really easy. Our guide was great and made sure we stayed very safe and guided us easily through the water!
It’s a great mix of chilling to admire the beautiful scenery and fun white water bits (not too difficult so I’d say great for children too!).

The rafting part was really great. However please note that there are close to 300 stairs to go down before the rafting to start and almost same number to climb after ot ends. The guides were experts.

I experienced Naerimcheon Stream and Hantangang River in Korea, but this feels like a jungle tour, so I like it because there are a lot of things to see.
Please note that there are a lot of stairs.

Incredible way of seeing the beautiful scenery and wildlife.
Our guide was Harry, and he was very professional as well as being a great laugh.
Would highly recommend this tour, felt safe from start to end.
The food was good too. Changing rooms, towels, lockers and showers were all provided.
If you've booked this tour as part of a day trip with the ATV in the afternoon, it's worth staying in your wet clothes from the rafting, as you're going to get wet and muddy in the afternoon and they too provide showers, towels and changing facilities.

The trip was quiet and peaceful. Nothing wild. It was also a little shorter than they advertised. Great trip with waterfalls and rocks
