Ayu Hill Bungalows

Exceptional place to stay on the island and be quiet. If you go easy I would stay at least two nights there. The staff is very nice and it is very well located to go anywhere on the island. I recommend you get around by motorcycle.

My only and favourite place to stay in nusa Penida. Best Place for Nature Lover.

Love the view so much. I could easily lie here and chill all day. This is best for anyone seeking to be embraced by nature.

We lacked money in the wallet! We inadvertently left our wallet in the bungalow from morning to evening, and when we came back money was missing from the wallet (approximately Rp800,000-900,000). I went to talk to the manager and he told me that he couldn't do anything. I ran out of my money. Do not forget anything of value in the room! We were missing money in our wallet! Nos faltó dinero en la cartera! Por descuido olvidamos la cartera en el bungalow desde la mañana hasta la tarde, y cuando regresamos nos faltaba dinero en la cartera (aproximadamente 800000-900000 Rp). Fui a hablar con el encargado y me dijo que no podía hacer nada. Me quedé sin mi dinero. No olviden nada de valor en la habitación!

The good:
Beautiful view from the hill. Nice scooters for rent. Good staff, friendly and welcome. Possible food delivery from near restaurant. Comfortable bed. Daily room service. Hot water all day. AC working well. Wi-Fi working well.

The bad:
Lots of insects, lizards and spiders. Our room had dozens of small cockroaches, mosquitoes, moths, geckos and a huge spider as a bonus. Room standard is very low. Its pretty dirty, walls are dirty, bathroom is not very clean.

Summary:
It’s a one star villa and it costs very little. Just remember that and you’ll be fine. Cool for 1-3 nights.

One of the most beautiful places I've stayed in Bali. The view of Mount Agung, the ocean, and the Penida hills can't be beat. Made is sooo friendly and will help you organize anything you need.
The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and they have a big parking area.

Amazing place with a view of mount Agung surrounded by nature. Bungalows are nice and clean with a big outdoor terrace. Hosts are super friendly and thoughtful. They also provide scooter rental and can help you book boats and trips. Breakfast was served on time, however bit of a small portion for our standards but enough to start the day off.

The host Made is friendly, helpful and kind. He can arrange tickets for ferry and snorkeling as well in case required. They even cooked a very tasty dinner (for additional cost) as it was late by the time i reached the place. Overall a good experience staying here:)

Unforgettable moments here, the place, the scenery, the atmosphere. 4 days here were so great. But, the best is pak Made, he's really friendly and helpful. He will help you as possible as he can, don't be hesitate for asking.

This is an amazing place, with good energy, you can sit on top for hours and admire the mountains or the volcano,
good hosts Made and Ayu create an absolutely family atmosphere.
The guardian of this place is a very cute dog Buddha, bring him presents if you come here! Thank you and hugs!

This place is amazing. In the middle of the nature, very quiet and relaxing. Made, Ayu and Kadek are super friendly and caring.

If you are looking to unwind and be in nature away from the busyness of the town, this is the perfect spot.

We loved our stay at Ayu Hills! Made and Kadek were very accommodating hosts, and the cottage itself was very comfortable and in a beautiful setting.

What an amazing place! Perfect quiet location but close to restaurants with a scooter, super friendly and helpful people and delicious breakfast! Bonus as well, great views on the sea and land.

Hello I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to feel in remote place with a view of a jungle valley and the ocean in the far. At the same time this place is maybe 10m-15m for the action in harbor/coast. The owner and family are very nice. The bungalow was clean and nice. Good choice!

Haven't got a chance to take a proper pictures the bungalows, so exhausted after full day visited few beaches in Penida. But hey, this was taken the morning after it.

The room was cozy, breakfast was delish, the staff (Pak Made and Pak Kadek) was super helpful and friendly to me and my friends! Would definitely come back! ️

We really enjoyed our stay here. The valley/sea view and the garden are incredibly beautiful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is big and delicious. We asked for vegan options and got vegan pancakes, nasi goreng and mie goreng.

But the best thing about this place is Made and Kadek! They are so kind and helpful. The communication is great and they took care of us and our wishes.

Highly recommend this place!
