Astawa Warung

The food was horrible. Salad without any kind of seasoning, just with cocktail sauce, terrible. The chicken was also horrible, inedible. I didn't even try the dessert that was on the menu. They didn't even ask why we left everything on the plate. They don't care about customer satisfaction.

Nice to be here.good food and good hospitality. Also they quick in give a service no need to wait until an hour for our food to come. Recomended. They also offer free arak test.

One of the Best Warung in Bali. Very good seafood. Tender and soft squid and shrimps. Good quality of service. I will come back there and I highly recommend it this place. It is a bit too noisy because of close visinity to the main street, and prices a bit higher than in other Warungs, but the climate and clean outlook overcomes it.

Tasty food felt like home cooked. 5 days in Bali, so far best food we had here. Great service and atmosphere.

Contrary to what has been written, the portions are generous and the dishes well cooked: nothing was bland.
We dined there as a family (5 people) and paid less than 8 euros per person with drinks as an aperitif (3 cocktails, 1 beer and a large bottle of water) starters and main courses. The service is fast, the welcome pleasant and the diversified offer of dishes. A glass of arak is even offered as a digestive.
For my wife, who is a vegetarian, they unhesitatingly adapted a dish to her tastes. I recommend this Warung, you shouldn't be disappointed.

Super delicious food at really moderate prices, compared to the restos in the immediate area, with really attentive and friendly service, we will definitely eat here again, if possible you should have the vegetable soup in advance, almost a little like at Muddi home

Really good food. The Vegetable Soup, simply great. Likewise the vegetarian curry. You are served quickly, the food comes to the table warm and the prices are really moderate. We ate here several times and it was always delicious. Absolute recommendation. Only the street noise was a bit annoying. But that's often the case in Bali.

Cash only. Requested to speak to the manager and they didn't even make the effort to accommodate the request. Food was ok.

We have eaten here for last few days. We tried many others in area but this one won hands down! Fresh, clean, fast, amazing food and amazing staff! Very reasonable and westerner size meals added bonus, bathroom was very clean.
Highly recommend!

Nice food. I liked the fish curry. The cap cay was different then I am used to. They offered some free arak after dinner. Nice gesture.

Keine Ahnung ob es hier das beste Essen in Candidasa gibt, wir waren in keinem anderen Lokal.

Das Essen ist hervorragend, das Personal super freundlich, schönes Ambiente (ok, direkt an der Hauptstraße, ab 19: 00 ist da weniger los).

Für uns war alles perfekt! Seafood Companion Menu oder Seafood Platter sehr zu empfehlen, Satay ebenfalls.

Had an enjoyable meal here tonight. First time. Certainly not the last. Entrees mains and desserts presented well, very tasty and most affordable. Host and staff very hospitable. Highly recommend this place with excellent Indonesian cuisine and some Western alternatives. Thank you to all at Warung Astawa.

Wir waren während unseres Aufenthaltes in Candidasa zweimal hier essen. Chef und Chefin sind unglaublich nett und das Essen ist das beste welches wir bisher in Bali hatten. Der Service ist ebenfalls hervorragend und alles ist sehr liebevoll dekoriert und sauber.

Finally it is open again! We went there yesterday and it was the best food I've ever tried in Bali. The Spring Roll was handmade and stuffed with really fresh vegetables. After that we had a delicious fish curry (my new favorite) and fish in banana leaves with garlic Prawns (also ridiculously)! For dessert we had banana Pancake with honey. Every part is handmade and cooked by the owner and his lovely wife is doing service. Great and nice people!

I highly recommend to go there if you are around! Really authentic balinese food for a good price. Each set we had costs about 90k (Spring Rolls, Main dish and dessert). By the way.there is Bintang happy hour from 5pm till 8pm

They opened up today the first time since two years.
We had the Tamarind Fish and Squid with Garlic Sauce. Both were great. The best indonesian food we had so far and just delicious.
The price is very low for the great quality and taste.

Came here twice out of our 4 night stay in Candidasa - amazing food, staff welcoming and great value for money!

Excellent lumpia, really fresh! Mie Goreng and Nasi Goreng also really good. Great service, highly recommend
