Alleycats Restaurant

One of the hardest places to find with some of the best affordable food in Bali.

OK so it's situated right up in the crappiest part of town Poppies Lane 2 where the streets are tight, people are in your face everywhere and this area is notorious for people who are new coming to Bali to get amongst it.

My advice do not stay here or close to hear far to much criminal activity, however after being a 30 year Bali veteran and living in Bali full time for many years let me tell you about Alleyways.

Owned by an Englishman and tucked away near the top end of Poppies lane 2, this leave has the best English breakfast hands down in Kuta.

All of the meals here are large servings, fresh, the staff are really friendly, drinks are cheap if your drinking. But the real star is the food.

Treat yourself out regularly to Allecats if you want a great feed and good chilled atmosphere when in Bali.

My recomendations:

Monster breakfast.
Any baguettes.
The Gravy here is amazing.
Sunday Roast dinners with Yorkshire puds.

The restaurant was an oasis of quiet just down an alley off the main alley. So quiet in fact that we were the only diners at lunchtime. But the food was great! I can recommend if you want a break from the hectic.

This restaurant had a very good food and drinks especially the double double.that's the most delicious drink that we ever had, the service was pretty quick and they are very friendly love love love this place

It's a good place if you know what you're getting. Which is really cheap drinks and cocktails with local liquor. I didn't try the food cause I didn't see the point but I saw some plates and it looks respectable. The drinks just really good to get drunk before actually go to a club.

Came here on many occasions during our stay in Bali. Staff is friendly. Food is good. You get good size portions especially for the price you pay! Tasty homemade chips! The prices you see on the menu card are the ones you pay.

Fun bar! A little smokey and they close at midnight but they play great music and let you play beer pong which is pretty rad.

Fantastic bar to start the evening at. Grab a bintang and sit down at a large table and just start chatting. People are super friendly so it's a great place to go if you are on your own or with friends!

Empty plates says it all.good portions and good fair price unlike most in kuta.wish I found this place sooner. Will be back soon to try more!

Delicious English food at a very reasonable price, have been eating there for years and really respect that they keep their prices low and high quality products. Love it!

My favorite place to chill in the heat of Kuta.
The Maps marker is placed correctly, so you can follow the directions right into this place.

If you want to spend a good time in the night life of Legian, I suggest you head to Alleycats first and fill you up with relatively cheap booze before you get into the clubs.

Good food, strong drinks. Advice: Order a "Wrong Island Ice Tea". It contains 7 cl of booze. Tenderloin Steak is about 5€. A Lot of Australian surfers dine and drink here.

Music's too loud but sometimes that's what some people need. Good price drinks and nice small garden and terrace settings
