We went to the popular swing site, Aloha Ubud Swing, before coming to this one. We left because it’s more about the pictures than an experience. The swings are all situated one next to the other and there’s only jungle ad the background. This place has jungle and rice fields. The swings are more exhilarating as they hoist you far up with a mechanical pulley. Plus, the have other adventures like bicycling on a tight rope, zip lining, and Superman swing. They don’t tack on a bunch of additional charges for photography. The workers are VERY skilled at using your phone and taking great pictures and videos. Although, the other swing place gives you five swings for 400k IDR and this place is almost the same for one swing, as a couple only interested in one swing, this place provided a far greater experience.

Apparently it's more vacant than Tegalalang Rice Terrace.
(Indeed, Tegalalang is quite crowded considering the traffic on the road in front of it)

So peaceful and a beautiful place to walk around for a few hours or take some killer Instagram photos. Also a few places to stop and have a drink!

This rice terrace view provides you with green fresh view. You can also try the swing for some money, I heard maybe around 400,000 rupiah. I didn't try because the driver who drove me here said another place is better.

It could be so beautiful but it’s full of people. Activities are quite costly. Our driver took us there even though he said before that he takes us to less touristy places. Was not worth it.

It is one of the many rice terraces in this area.my driver took me past the first one. There was a huge lineup, so I told him I didn't want to go there.then he took me to this one, which is much less people. However, the scenery is pretty much more or less the same as the famous Bali Rice Terrace.

Be sure you take some memorable photos, and if you wonder if there's also a zip lining and swing, you may purchase the ticket around the top or second floor near the entrance.once you get the ticket, you may go to the activity area, and they will call you individually with the number of holding from small to big ones to participate.

For those who love adventure can visit this place. Entrance ticket for foreign is IDR 25k per person. People can hike along paddy fields, swing, sky cycling, Selfi and many more.

Less busy than the usual spots in Bali but don't expect to have your photo taken without being asked for money. The entrance fee is fair and the views are spectacular. The extra activities such as swing, zip wire and chair were all in active use and seemingly safe with safety wires and harnesses.

Rice Terraces in Bali are majestic and Tegallalang/Abian Desa is no exception. We went late in the day before 18h and the terraces were virtually empty but for us, a few other tourists, and two workers. It was spectacular to see the fields with very few people. I think morning sunrises would be particularly beautiful here as well, and likely with nobody around. The rice terraces are one of our favorite sites to visit because of their beauty and tranquility. To me, the terraces are even more peaceful than temples and fosters an amazing environment for reflection. If you do no other sites in Bali, visit a rice terrace!

Great scenery but prices for the swings and zip line are very high, which gives the otherwise nice location a very commercial touch

Good spot if you are looking for an iconic bali picture.

Prices is touristy, for local and foreigners alike.

Walking down toward the paddy field is possible and provide a bit of experience. Watch for the clouds because you don’t want to be down there even in a small rain.
