42Awesome vibe, healthy nice food and drinks. Who doesn’t love this place? Definitely worth to visit and eat
I liked this place, their fresh juices. The chicken was quite dry and covered in plain ketchup.
But I have to say that I don't like the unpredictable bill prices in Balinese cafes. Somewhere the price corresponds to the price on the menu, somewhere it’s +10%, somewhere for some strange reason +11%, 15% or 20%! In this establishment, there was no information about the added cost in the menu, but it appeared on the bill. I believe that the establishment should initially inform the guest of the full cost and keep prices transparent. Hiding information about the added cost to the bill is deceiving guests.
Very warm welcome, the owner is very kind and took the time to explain the dishes to us, which are excellent, very tasty and varied, vegetarian dishes and dishes with chicken.
I recommend this restaurant with my eyes closed. Mandatory visit if you are staying in Ubud
Thank you again for the welcome and for the culinary discovery and good luck
I really loved the food. I had belly issues so the owner recommended me a healthy drink.
I loved the curry! You have also vegetarian and vegan options. The owners are very nice and the price is cheap. Please support them!
Very nice place. Delicious food and lovely service. We will come back.
We absolutely recommend it.
Loooooved this place. The food was so good and the price so reasonable. Get out of the touristy places and go try this warung
Very tasty food for both vegetarian and non vegetarian.
No extra service charge or tax.
Amazing service with the kindest owners.
Ate here for almost every meal in Ubud, everything was delicious.
A cozy family warung with kind and bright hosts. There is no point in even writing anything about food. Such food is valued more than the amounts on their menu. Everything was delicious! We will definitely try to come back again to try other dishes, although it’s a long way to go (but it’s worth it!
I bookmarked this place to have a meal - I ordered a vegetarian Tempe tofu coconut curry and one of their smoothies. The atmosphere is relaxed! Unfortunately my curry was disappointing and average - I could barely taste any coconut milk, the broth was less and there was no salt. The chef asked me to add salt but I think personally that’s not a great practice to add salt after it being cooked
The smoothies are however excellent and service was great
Came for dinner. Very cosy ambiance with super friendly staff. Food was very tasty, like a home cooked meal. I tried the Pepe chicken and the curry. Will definitely come back to try more things!
The food was fantastic. Tastes delicious. You can taste how fresh the products are in your mouth.
Fabulous. 9 of us had two course meals as take-aways, three nights in a row while in Ubud. Every meal was really nice, fresh, hot, perfect size, highly recommended!
Still one of the most authentic home cooking and family orientated places in Ubud. Taste, value, quality, setting, hospitality, it's got that old Ubud charm that's hard to find elsewhere these days. Park up the ramp on right and be welcomed by the family with endless smiles enjoy your freshly made meal or organic juice while the world whizzes by.
I visited this Warung 5 years ago with my sister and I will never forget the pancakes. Today I visited again with my fiancé and I insisted we go and have the pancakes again and they did not disappoint. Juices were also amazing.
The story of the Warung is lovely and the family is so sweet and full of smiles.
We paid 50-60k for a Taxi from Ubud centre to get there for anyone that is interested to know this.
Thank you Abe-Do!
A hole in the wall kinda place but definitely worth a visit. The food is home-made, authentic Balinese style with lots of flavours, perfect for breakfast, lunch or brunch. I had both a fruit salad and the red rice poridge which were delicious, as well as a bottle of their home-made juice (the ginger one). Loved the family home vibe, food and service with a smile:)
Really cozy and nice place to eat. The food was good and excellent service.
We ordered a vegetarian Nasi Goreng and the guacamole with chips.
The guacamole was only avocado, no tomato or coriander. But the chips were home made and very good.
The Nasi Goreng was tasty, it came with tempeh and fried egg as well. Would come again.
If I could rate more than five stars I would:)
If you’re looking for a great place to eat, with a nice selection of vegetarian / vegan options, don’t look further!
We had an amazing experience at Abe-Do ; the food (tempeh sate and pepes tofu) was simply delicious. You can feel the love and attention to details in every plate! We also really loved the banana blossom for desert.
As soon as we entered, we were welcomed with a warm smile and felt really comfortable in this cozy place, decorated with care.
Thanks again for this amazing dinner, and hope to be back soon!
We had a unique experience at Abe-Do Organic Warung!
Many options for vegans, tasty food, and a moving story behind the starting of this warung. Would recommend to anyone going to Ubud!
Dining at Abe do was an amazing experience. The Warung was very intimate and it was great to chat with the lovely owner. Our meal at Abe do was the best of our trip and some of the highlights included the freshest/best tasting spring rolls and nasi goreng I’ve ever had. Our group also loved the satay Tempe which was just as delicious. We would definitely recommend dining here to everyone even though it is a bit out of town.
Go here for a more relaxed and authentic place than central Ubud. Decent organic food at very fair prices. Come here to support the local community and planet earth
