34Awesome food, self service. All vegan options besides the eggs. Really great vibe and super cheap prices. The food is amazing as well.
A fully self service, pay by the scoop cafeteria, serving a great selection of delicious local Indonesian dishes, adapted for Western palettes and vegetarians.
Very unique system where everything from serving, payment to cleaning and dish washing, is the responsibility of the customer.
The owners were very welcoming and immediately explained the house rules, also plenty of parking for. Bring mosquito repellent though since its semi outdoors and located next to a pool.
Wonderful place to eat, full of plants and amazing tastes. Nice variety on the buffet to choose from <3 After 5 days on bali the best place to eat <3 (all was vegan, but definitely nice for everybody).
Nice little restaurant in a garden, food is always great: they make jackfruit curry and it’s amazing!
It’s a self-service, you pay for what you put on you plate and at the end you wash your dishes!
Come for food, leave with life lessons. You'll live through a scene from a film you never watched, that would have made you come visit Ubud.
A wild-looking garden that fools you with nonchalance—what looks effortless, takes the most effort to keep up. Similarly the food—simple dishes that may look casually put together, takes the most love and attention to prepare.
(I'm making guru-style statements: these are very unlikely to be generalisable rules.)
Directions of operation:
1. Get a plate.
2. Load it with deliciousness.
Top food choices? Everything. No kidding.
3. Count your spoons!
4. Eat.
5. Admire the plants, enjoy the peacefulness of finally not sitting by the side of a busy road.
5.a, optional, but recommended: have a conversation with a stranger.
*Repeat 2-5 as many times as you want. *
6. Wash your plate.
7. Pay what you owe by stuffing the notes into a glass bottle.
Commit to coming back. For more tempeh and more conversations.
Such a great place and a wonderful concept! It has a vegan buffet and you can help yourself. You wash the dishes yourself. Prices are cheap: 30-40K for a full plate. The cook is super nice and the garden is very beautiful.
Nine angels is the BEST vegan buffet in Ubud Sooo cheap.sooo delicious!
The jackfruit curry is out of this world!
The concept is amazing! The owner Tony is awesome.
A hidden gem and so far my favourite place!
This might be the best restaurant in Ubud. Incredible setting divine food outrageously affordable prices, do yourself a favor and check it out.
Food tasted like it was off, thought i was going to get food poisoning, it was all cold, maybe good if you go the minute it opens
This restaurant is soulful and magical. This place is created with love and you can just feel that in the space. After knowing this place I've been coming here everyday and always bring another friend. They all loved it here.
THIS IS SO FAR THE BEST PLACE IVE EVER BEEN TO AND NOT JUST IN BALI BUT ALL OVER THE WORL
The food is AMAZING vegan the atmosphere is AMAZING need yo see it to believe it.
Truly a gem in Ubud!
Super delicious vegetarian buffet at a very rustic quaint compound. Super friendly owner and lovely staff
Buffet style food. Very tasty. It was hard to find since its hidden behind other restaurants. But it’s in between restaurants monsieur spoon and indian restaurant sitara. We came at dusk so many mosquitoes were around in the premise. Take mosquito spray. You have to get your own plate from the sink and take whatever you like. Calculate afterwards the cost of each spoon you took. Also wash your own plate after and put it back where you took it. Kind staff. We paid around 25 k per plate. Will come back when around.
This place is so serene. Tony, the creative mind running it is a wonderful human being. I enjoyed the food and tried a bit of everything from the buffet. It was all delicious. Don’t forget to try desert!
The best place I ate in ubud! If you are craving wholesome food home cooked. Toni has surprised us with amazing treats. Oh and his beef soup is just divine! The banana cake with homemade pineapple jam ohhhhh ️️
This place deserves more than 5 stars. Tony is an incredible person and chef. Everything is delicious, you can’t go wrong. Only wish I visited sooner
If you want to eat simple and very tasty dishes, this place is a gem.
The owner and chief are the best. He can cook food on your request from items in gis kitchen.
The are a big Vegan buffet with the best rice and tofu, but if you prefer meat, there are plenty of options.
I recommend to try rice, ginger tea and a coconut pancakes
